Just a Mother

Sometimes I feel so unfulfilled

After all, I’m “just” a mother.

I have no busy social life

Or career like all the others.

But when I start to pity myself,

Christ is quick to show

There’s no greater job than motherhood,

Even though the pay is low!

When I look into those little eyes

So full of adoration,

I know that I’m a member of

The greatest occupation.

Drying tears and wiping noses,

It’s one thing or another.

But thanks to Christ, I’ve discovered

I’m proud I’m “just” a mother.

1st Day of Preschool

Our little angel is growing up and started preschool yesterday. She was such a big girl and was very cooperative as we got ready. She loved her lunchbox because she thought it was a purse.

I put her down and she went straight to the baby carrier and stroller. She loves playing Mama.
One of her teachers, Miss Carrie, walked over to say good morning.
Picking her up after preschool. She was so excited to see me it melted my heart. She grabbed my face with such a surprised look on her face and kept saying, "Mama, Mama, look it's Mama"! I had to assure her I would always come back for her. One croc on, one croc off!

I had one tired baby on my hands. She played hard!

She got a prize for being a big girl on her first day of school. She got a Princess Book from Aunt Rosie.

Happy 2nd Birthday Braylee!

Braylee had a big day with lots of family and friends. We opened gifts at my parents house with all the family and then went to her party at the WaterPark in Moultrie. She had so much fun with all her friends. Lots of pizza, cake, cookies, candy, toys and swimming. The day could not have been better. Thank you to all our family and friends for making her day so special!

My little pool shark. I can't believe she actually kept these goggles on. She saw Jack and Hank in them so she wanted them on. Braylee is getting more and more brave in the water every time we take her out.
